To run the Make Ready Fill Area tool you need to create a Fill Area Master Tool settings. The Fill Settings form can be opened from the Master Tool Settings or the Make Ready Fill Area tool.
Fill Settings - General
Name
Enter a unique name for these settings.
Description
Add an optional description for the settings.
Use First Tool First
Determines if the smallest diameter tool will create the first internal offset. If this is not checked then a larger tool may be used to create the first offset and the smallest tool to fill in the gaps that are left.
Add Free Cuts
Switch this option on to create links between paths of the same tool.
Convert Small Arcs To Lines
Switch this option on to convert arcs whose radius is less than one tenth of the tool radius into lines.
Order and Direction
Direction of new entities
Choose the appropriate radio button depending on the required direction of the tool relative to the finished edge.
Finished edge
Choose the appropriate radio button depending on whether the finished edge should be milled first or last.
Fill Settings - Tools
The table lists all the tools available to create a filled area.
Add
Press this button to open the Area Fill Tool form allowing you to create a new tool.
Change
Press this button to open the Area Fill Tool form to allow you make changes to the highlighted setting.
Delete
Press this button to remove the highlighted setting from the table.
