Edit > Alternative Symbols 
This tool enables you to change the symbols that are being used to represent particular components within the active marquee (via the Marquee 
tool) to an alternative.
If a stripper area/region lies only partially inside the active marquee, then all the components in the stripper area/region, even if they lie outside the active marquee, are considered.
This tool is particularly useful when you wish to use components of the same type and size, but with different heights, in different parts of the stripper design.
Edit bar controls
Symbol Mode 
From the pulldown list select the alternative symbol name required; <Default> will change all the components to use their default symbols, and is always available. Alternatives are only listed if all the components being changed have an alternative of that name available.
Accept 
Press this button to accept the alternative name and change all the components to use the matching alternative symbol.
How to use the tool
Having selected a marquee using the Marquee 
tool, activate this tool and select the alternative symbol name from the Symbol Mode 
dropdown. Press the Accept 
button to change all the components within the marquee to use this alternative symbol name.
