This tool is used to create a new template, to be used when creating new projects (pre-defining layers, palettes and so on).
Once the tool is activated, the forms that appear depend upon your New Item settings. Some forms can be suppressed, to save you time.
When you activate the tool, the New Template form allows you to choose a template.
Next, the Template Information form appears, allowing you to enter database information such as the template reference (name) and code. This form may be revisited using Database>Template.
When the template is saved it is saved directly to the central database and not to your working area.
