Time Format

This form is called from several places, including the Database Field form, the Value Mapping Database form, the Value Mapping System Function form, the Value Mapping Variable form and the Text Editor form.

Hours

From the pulldown list choose None, Twelve Hour or Twenty-four Hour.

Minutes

From the pulldown list choose either None or Shown.

Seconds

From the pulldown list choose either None or Shown.

Separator

From the pulldown list choose None, Space or Colon.

Zero fill

If this option is switched on then any numeric values will have a zero added at the start where necessary to make them into two-digit numbers. In the example shown above the value of 7 seconds is shown as 07.

Upper case

If this option is switched on then all letters will be displayed in upper case, such as AM or PM in the case of the Twelve Hour display.

Preview

The current time will be displayed in this field using the currently selected format.
