Database Operation - Terminology
Depending on your preferences, you can use different terminology to describe the side of a carton and the direction of the board.
Orientation
This refers to the inside/outside of a carton. Choose your preferred terminology:
- Print-face/Die-face/Actual
- Outside-face/Inside-face/Actual
- Outside/Inside/Dieside
Flute/Grain Direction
This refers to the material from which the carton is made. Choose your preferred terminology:
- Flute/Grain
- Flute
- Grain
