Entities that are bridged with this bridge style will have a fixed distance (land length) between their start point and first bridge and another fixed distance between successive bridges.
Add Spanish Bridges
Switch this option on if extra bridges are to be added at either end of the entity.
Spanish bridge width
Enter the required width of these bridges.
Fixed Number
Switch this option on if a fixed number of bridges should be added to all entities regardless of their length. Enter the required number.
Maximum length with no bridges
Enter the maximum length an entity can be without having bridges added to it.
Start land length
Enter the required land length as described above.
Minimum End Land Length
Enter the minimum land length allowed at the end of the entity.
Tie Bridges
These are generally smaller bridges that may be added to shorter entities. Select this option if they are to be used.
Width
Enter the required width of a tie bridge.
Maximum Length
Enter the maximum length that an entity can be before it has to have a standard bridge rather than a tie bridge.
Standard Bridge
Width
Enter the required width of a standard bridge.
Separation
Enter the required distance between successive bridges.
Intersections
Choose the required radio button to define what should happen when a bridge position coincides with the intersection between the bridged entity and another entity.
