The following represents the release builds available; each article includes details of new or updated features and Illustrator and Impact compatibility.

Version 1.0.1.0 - Initial Release (Deprecated)
Version 1.0.1.0 was the first release version of Impact Plugin for Adobe® Illustrator®, which was initially compatible with Illustrator 2017 (build 21) - 2019 (build 23), on both Windows and Mac o/s.
Whilst earlier builds of Impact are partially compatible, Impact 2019 is recommended for use with this build.
Version 1.1.1.0 (Deprecated)
Version 1.1.1.0, released Feb 2020, was a minor update to Impact Plugin for Adobe® Illustrator®, and added support for Illustrator 2020 (i.e. build 24.0 upwards) on both Windows and Mac o/s. No features were added or changed.
It remains compatible with Impact 2019, the currently available release at this time.
Version 2.0.1.0 (Deprecated)
Version 2.0.1.0, released in October 2020, represents a major update of the Impact Plug-in for Adobe® Illustrator® and introduced the Live Link feature, but in doing so also raised the minimum supported Impact version to 2019 R2 SP1 (11.1.2.0).
This version of the plug-in is compatible with Illustrator 2018 (v22.x) to 2021 (25.x) versions of Illustrator, both Windows and MacOS - However, Live Link is only available for Windows as it currently requires Impact to be installed alongside it on the same workstation.
Version 2.1.1.0
Version 2.1.1.0, released in Feb 2021, is a minor update to Impact Plug-in for Adobe® Illustrator® version 2.0.1.0 which first introduced the Live Link feature. This version of the plug-in continues to be intended for use with Impact 2019 R2 SP1 (11.1.2.0), though can be used to a reduced capacity with older versions of Impact - see Impact Compatibility.
This version of the plug-in is compatible with Illustrator 2018 (v22.x) to 2022 (26.x) versions of Illustrator, both Windows and MacOS - However, Live Link is only available for Windows as it currently requires Impact to be installed alongside it on the same workstation.
Minor changes included in this version are:
- Support for Russian language, and updated translations for other supported languages
- Greater compatibility with Illustrator major and minor version updates
- Signed plug-in components to stop security issues to avoid HTML-based UI components from being blocked
- Updated notarization for approved MacOS development and distribution
Version 2.1.2.0 (Windows only)
Version 2.1.2.0, released in Oct 2021, is a minor update to Impact Plug-in for Adobe® Illustrator® version 2.0.1.0 which first introduced the Live Link feature. This version of the plug-in continues to be intended for use with Impact 2019 R2 SP1 (11.1.2.0), though can be used to a reduced capacity with older versions of Impact - see Impact Compatibility.
This version of the plug-in is compatible with Illustrator 2018 (v22.x) to 2022 (26.x) versions of Illustrator for Windows.
Minor changes included in this version are:
- A fix for an Illustrator crash when using the Live Link feature, where there are embedded images within the related Impact drawing (ILL-65).
Version 2.1.3.0 - Latest Release
Version 2.1.3.0, released in May 2022, is a minor update to Impact Plug-in for Adobe® Illustrator® Version 2.1.2.0. This version of the plug-in continues to be intended for use with Impact 2019 R2 SP1 (11.1.2.0) or later, though can be used to a reduced capacity with older versions of Impact - see Impact Compatibility.
This version of the plug-in is compatible with Illustrator 2022 (v26.x) to 2023 (27.x) versions.
Minor changes included in this version are:
- Support for Illustrator 2023 (27.x), both Windows and MacOS
