Print - General

Printer

Name

From the drop-down list select the Windows printer you require.

Properties

Press this button to edit the printer properties.

Colour

Choose Black and White if you wish all lines to be shown as black, choose Colour / Grey Scale if you wish the printer to approximate the colour of the geometry on the screen.

Copies

Specify how many times the drawing should be printed.

Drawing output

Output

  • All visible layers
  • Current layer
  • Current visible extents
  • Current selected extents
  • Current marquee (only available if a marquee has been placed)

Print at 1 to 1 scale

If this option is checked the drawing is not scaled to fit the page. (If you try to print a drawing which is larger than your paper then only the bottom left corner is printed).

Ignore line weights

Switch this option on to print all entities with the same weight and ignore the width specified in the Palette Attributes.

Increase line weights

If you wish the lines to be shown thicker, enter a percentage increase.

Orientation

Choose the orientation of the entities to be printed, either Portrait or Landscape.

 

Print

Press this button to print the current drawing as defined.

Preview

Press this button to open the print preview form. The drawing can then be printed from this form or the print tool cancelled.

Cancel

Press this button to cancel the print tool.

Print - Options

Page Range

These options allow you to determine which pages should be printed.

Columns

These options allow you to define the number of columns the printed page is to be divided into and whether or not a vertical line should appear between successive columns..

Settings

Report

From the drop-down list select the setting required. The settings are stored in the Master Tool Settings. You can make a temporary override to the settings shown by pressing the edit button to open the Printed Report Settings form. The Report will define any header or footer text to be printed.

Graphics

From the drop-down list select the setting required. The settings are stored in the Master Tool Settings. You can make a temporary override to the settings shown by pressing the edit button to open the 3D Graphic Settings form.
