Settings Menu

A tool can have one or more settings menus, where the settings are stored. They look very similar to the master tool settings of various Impact tools that appear in Impact’s edit bar. Each tool in the manufacturing toolbox will have at least one settings menu.

Each setting menu has an icon at the far left, you can hover over this to reveal the name of the settings; a drop-down menu that contains a list of available settings and a button at the right side that opens the Settings Collection Editor described below. From here you can customise how the tool works.

Settings Collection Editor

All the tools within the Manufacturing Toolbox contain similar collection editors.

On the left side of the dialog is a list of settings. You can adjust the order of the settings by using the arrow buttons. There is a Remove button that will delete the currently highlighted setting. The Add button will clone the currently selected setting.

The right side will show a list of properties and the values associated with the currently selected setting.
